Darren Talbot
Managing Director

Darren is a UKCC Level 2 qualified cricket coach. As a player, he captained Surrey Young Cricketers and played in the Surrey under 19 team as a slow-left arm bowler and attacking middle-order (occasional opening) batsman. Within the Surrey teams he was a regular team mate of former England captains Mark Butcher and Adam Hollioake.

Darren attended King’s College School (KCS) Wimbledon where he was captain of cricket in 1989. He still holds the post-war record for number of wickets in a season for the school 1stXI – 58 in 1987.

He has played league club cricket for various clubs in Surrey and Kent over the last 20 years including Walton-on-Thames, Dover and Cobham Avorians.



Neil Bunting
London & Home Counties

Neil is a UKCC Level 2 qualified coach. He played for junior Nottinghamshire representative sides and Combined Universities Select XIs. More recently he has played senior club cricket in Middlesex and Surrey.

He has coached at local schools and clubs and has run various holiday courses. He is currently a coach at Epsom Cricket Club.

Neil is also a qualified Football and Rugby Union coach.

Mike Gibson
South West

Mike is a Level II ECB qualified coach and former Leicestershire 2nd XI opening batsman.

Mike has played cricket for many years with the majority of his playing career being in Leicestershire. In 2000 he moved to Gloucestershire through work and has played for Dumbleton 1st XI, captaining them for two seasons. He is also part of the Dumbleton Junior coaching team.


David Hinchliffe
South Wales

David is a sports studies honours graduate who has been a qualified cricket coach since 1993. He is currently UKCC 2 level qualified and
has coached at every level from U7 beginners to the ICC Associate squad.

He has also been strength and conditioning consultant to clubs in the North Gear 2020 Premier League.

David currently owns and runs the cricket site Harrowdrive.com where he gives free tips on coaching, tactics, fitness and nutrition for cricketers of all ages. In his spare time, David plays for and is youth section co-ordinator of his local club.


Tony Phillips
Central Scotland

Tony is a UKCC Level 2 coach who has been coaching in Central Scotland. He has been running Introductory Cricket Sessions together with Sport Central and Active Stirling for the past 3 years.

With the feedback, Tony started McLaren Cricket Club in Callander 15 miles from Stirling. Without any funds and equipment, together with an active group of parents, he has created a booming cricket club whose membership is above 60 after its first year.

Tony also coaches the Forth Valley under 13 team plus a Girls Academy Team and is hoping to establish a High School team in the near future.



Pat Legge
South West

Pat is an ECB level 2 coach, and currently progressing onto the ECB Club Coach award. He also holds an Advanced Biomechanics Speed & Accuruacy Trainer qualification and Diploma in Sports Psychology.

He brings with him a wealth of experience having coached the Germany National team, Combined Services and Army Ladies, the Adjutant Generals Corps and Devizes CC. He has also worked for the Excel Cricket Academy and Dummer Indoor School.

On the playing side, Pat is captain of Devizes CC, who ply their trade in the West of England Premier Wiltshire League . He bowls a mixture of right arm seam and spin and normally bats anywhere in the top 6.
 
Pat is fully qualified as an ECB Coaches Association Member, being certifed in Safeguarding and Protecting Children and First Aid.


Liz Ward
East of England

Liz is an ECB Level 1 Coach and as a Strength and Conditioning Practitioner is a Certified Personal Trainer, Level 3 Advanced Fitness and Gym Instructor, Performance Nutritionist and Psychologist.

As a biomechanist, Liz works mainly in prehabilitation, preventing, as well as working with, sports injuries.  She specialises in the Long Term Athlete Development Programme, specifically the FUNdamentals of Movement stage and has worked in primary schools for six years.

Liz is a fully qualified member of the ECB Coaches Association, being certified in Safeguarding and Protecting Children and First Aid.
