We are currently looking for freelance coaches throughout the United Kingdom to coach cricket in schools.

The majority of work we can offer is running after school clubs in local primary schools usually between 3.15/3.30pm-4.15/4.30pm each day.

We also run cricket parties at weekends as well as club coaching and courses.

You must have:-

UKCC2 or above qualification

Current enhanced ECB CRB

ECB Coaches Association membership

First Aid certificate (less than 3 years old)

Safeguarding Children / Child Welfare & Protection (less than 3 years old)

We have a basic contract which you will need to sign but that does not preclude you from working elsewhere as you will be a freelance coach. We will also run a separate CRB check on you.

As we like our schools to have coach continuity, we would be looking for a minimum 12 month commitment from you and we would expect you to be available at least 3 afternoons a week for the whole term.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there schools work available in my area?

We only approach the schools once you have signed up as a coach with us but on average our coaches work in around 3 schools per coach per week. The actual amount often depends on coach availability.

How much am I likely to earn per week?

This will very much depend on where you are based and how much work we find for you but £45-60 per week during term would be a reasonable expectation with the possibilty of more if you are free to do cricket birthday parties. If you are available 5 days a week, mornings and afternoons then £90-120 per week is by no means impossible.

How far will I be expected to travel?

We look for work for you in schools within a 10-15 mile radius of your home. If anything crops up outside this area, for example parties, we will let you know and there would be some extra money available for travel over 15 miles.

Will I need my own equipment?

Yes, you will need to take your own coaching equipment which must be plastic for safety reasons. If you don't have your own equipment, we can supply it to you on a term long lease at the end of which you will own the equipment outright. We can provide you with a list of what you will need, which must include a first aid kit and accident book.

How long will it take for me to sign up to work with you?

Assuming we receive all the information we require back from you promptly, it should take not much longer than 1 month.
